Universal Studios 60th Anniversary Studio Tour

QCO Entertainment Consulting was brought in to oversee all audiovisual, lighting, and CCTV systems for the overhauled Earthquake Attraction as part of the 60th Anniversary Celebration.

THE WIZARDING WORLD OF HARRY POTTER

As Universal Creative’s Senior Technical Manager, QCO Entertainment’s founder Paul Cuoco oversaw all audio, video, lighting, and projection (AVLP) systems for the entire Wizarding World at Universal Studios Hollywood. This included all elements of the land, shows, and attractions, including The Forbidden Journey Ride.

minion park (Japan)

QCO Entertainment managed the entire design, installation, and commissioning of all audio-visual and projection systems for Minion Park. This included the main attraction as well as all retail and area development.

Universal Studios Japan and Illumination Entertainment turned to QCO Entertainment Consulting, LLC to oversee all technical aspects of this live show including, Animated Figures, Costumes, Show Action Equipment, Theatrical Lighting, and Audio-Visual Systems. The results are stunning and resulted in another win for USJ!

The Simpsons Ride (USH)

QCO Entertainment was brought in to bring this attraction back to the state-of -the art including a massive upgrade to the video projection from standard lamps to 4K RGB laser at a whopping 60K lumens, bringing color, brightness, and clarity never before experienced at this attraction.

Night at the Museum: Midnight Mayhem

Genting Skyworld sought out QCO Entertainment’s expertise to help bring the 3D effects to life for this action-packed interactive ride.

QCO Entertainment’s founder, Paul Cuoco, oversaw the design and installation of the highly intricate stereoscopic projection, including the development of a patent-pending projection transport unit that seamlessly flies projector pairs in concert with a moving ride vehicle.
Winner of the Themed Entertainment Association “THEA” Award for Outstanding Achievement and Winner the International 3D Society Lumiere Award for Special Venue Attraction.

QCO Entertainment Consulting founder Paul Cuoco, working as an employee of Universal Creative, spent 2 years developing, tweaking, and perfecting the immersive 3-D projection system for the attraction, which includes 16 projectors, unique lensing, and 2 custom compound curve screens that stand 40′ tall and 187′ long. 

Winner of the International 3D Society Lumiere Award and VES Award for Outstanding Visual Effects in a Special Venue Project.
